Despite their fame, most people have never even seen such performances.. and if you don't know the right places to look, you might not find them either. Chinese Opera
The Opera in China is no ordinary style of Opera, so please don't confuse it with traditional western opera. Many styles exist in the country and one of the most famous is the Beijing Opera or also known as Peking Opera. All in all a fantastic show.

Many Kung Fu shows in China boast incredible stunts and excitement. Kung Fu is the name the covers all the martial arts styles in China. In fact there are more styles that anyone can count and even new styles are being formed until this day.
Chinese Acrobatics
China has a thousand year old history of acrobatics, with incredibly gifted and talented performers. Most start at a very young age, which is the only way to compete in the Chinese acrobatics show world. Extreme toughness and courage is required from the performers. The Chaoyang Theatre is considered one of the best Chinese acrobatics performances.
